André Lachance was born in Lévis, Québec and raised in Québec City. After making the move to Vancouver in 1990 to pursue music studies he quickly established himself on the West Coast music scene as a much sought after double-bass player, in groups with Stephen Fisk, Claude Ranger, Miles Black and Kate Hammett-Vaughan with projects on electric bass and guitar soon to follow. As a bassist and guitarist, André has toured extensively both nationally and internationally with various groups and projects as well as recording for various labels such as Songlines, Cellar Live, Maximum Jazz, Justin Time, Spool and for the CBC and Radio-Canada. February 9th, Andre will be joined by Chad Makela-bari sax, Chris Gestrin-rhodes and Joe Poole-drums. We are excited to have such talent visit our humble little pub & brewhouse!
